This new 11x14 Lion Dance watercolor painting feels especially close to my heart. With Lunar New Year approaching, I’m excited to attend a few upcoming celebrations, and this piece captures that sense of movement, color, and energy I love so much.
I used watercolor to create a fluid, expressive background and layered acrylic on top for the bold details and textures. The result truly reflects my art style, and it may be one of my favorites so far. I absolutely love how it came together and hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
